Product Description

Die punching (Punches / Days): In the plate shear machine, the punching is a mold specially designed for stamping operation. They are usually made from high strength, high wear resistance materials such as carbide or high-speed steel to ensure stable shape and accuracy during high-speed, high-load stamping. The main function of the die is to accurately cut the desired shape and size on the sheet metal.
Die punching can be divided into many types according to its structure and use, including but not limited to:

Standard punching die: used for common stamping operations, such as straight cutting, round or square hole stamping, etc.
Special shape punching: customized to specific requirements for punching holes or cuts in complex shapes.
Combined die punching: it is composed of multiple die punching combinations, which can complete multiple cutting or stamping tasks in a stamping operation and improve production efficiency.
The structure of the punch die usually includes two parts: the upper die and the lower die. The upper die is fixed on the punch head, and the lower die is installed on the working table of the board shear machine. During stamping, the punch drives the upper die to move downward, make contact with the lower die and apply pressure, thus forming the required incision or hole on the sheet metal.
